I recommend Brian Vellmure to everyone – marketers, sales, social, customer service, cloud…Maybe it’s just me, but when it comes to enterprise and social technology — I always seek his point of view. I randomly skype him all the time to talk shop and always learn something. You should do the same some time- you will agree with me. 7. b2b video is just video.
    8. In b2b, the idea of a funnel is becoming antiquated.
9.The first thing every marketer should do is get to know their customers and prospects inside and out.

    14. Besides revenue, the metric every marketer must track is profitability.
    15. My most forgettable marketing experience is sending out thousands of postcards inviting businesses to come hear me speak and having a grand total of 11 people register and show up.
    16. Mobile marketing is a great opportunity to provide the customer what they want/need in context.
    17. The next “hot-thing” in marketing will be over-hyped and impossible to ignore, misleading masses of people.
    18. In 2015, marketing will have matured in its use of digital interactions to participate in more contextual interactions and will be battling more privacy wars.

Reviewing this, it looks like my ADD got the best of me as I forgot to finish the answer to #3. It should read:

The coolest thing happening in b2b marketing is the convergence of PR and Customer Service. Company:Customer and Customer:Customer interactions are now on the stage for the world to see.
